Chartered in 1887, Alverno College is  one of the nation’s largest Catholic women’s colleges.  We offer weekday and weekend undergraduate options for women, as well as well as a variety of graduate programs open to both women and men .

 

 

Weekday College
Weekday College offers a complete bachelor's degree program for women of all ages. Classes are held Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Weekday College offers more than 60 program areas of study from which to choose.

 

Alverno On The Weekend
Alverno On The Weekend offers a complete bachelor's degree program for working women in the areas of Business Management and Community Leadership and Development. This full-college experience offers classes Friday evening through Sunday afternoon every other weekend.

 

Graduate Programs
Offered every other weekend, graduate programs are for men and women. Programs include Master of Arts in Education, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Nursing, and Master of Science in Community Psychology.

In addition to offering more than 60 program areas of study, including hundreds of career options in today's foremost fields, Alverno focuses on your mastery of the skills today's employers are seeking.

 

Evaluation and assessment instead of grades: In each class, you'll be assessed by faculty, professionals from the Milwaukee community, and by yourself. You'll find that Alverno's assessment method will provide more information than a grade. The college also is fully approved by accrediting bodies, including the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, and is accepted by graduate schools and employers.
